Oh god, this took me forever to finish when it shouldn't have. Now that I look at it, I feel like I should've added more. Which I would've murdered myself for down the line, but...it seems like the end product just doesn't reflect the work I put into it.
That being said...light source? HAHA, my pictures don't have light sources, what are you talking about? 8D; Actually, I started shading the picture before I realized "Oh wait, shit, shinies go where?" because I forgot I was going to put a spell at the end of her Keyblade, for which I went crazy while looking for suitable references. So, uh. I just pasted a quick blue glow onto it to make it at least seem like the magic has an effect on its surroundings. One of these days I'll have a proper light source...one day...! And for that matter, no, I have no clue what spell she's casting, I just felt like making something blue, glowy, and pretty. Er, anyways. If you haven't figured it out yet, it's Aqua, from the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. Her outfit...I dunno wtf is up with it. So, er, don't ask. Also I seem entirely unable to keep my interpretation of her outfit consistant, if you couldn't tell from my playground knights pictures. Kingdom Hearts and all related characters and concepts are (c) Square Enix and Disney. Art is (c) me. |

DUDE I WISH I HAD THE PATIENCE ENOUGH TO DRAW A KEYBLADE. but i'd be like. lol, this line isn't straight enough--whoops it go too thin--OH NO THIS LINE IS CURVED--NO NOW IT'S OUT OF PROPORTION----SCREW THIS CRAP.
that's exactly how it would go. i know. because i've tried before.
IT TOOK ME FOREVER AUGH FDKLSFJDSKL NEVER AGAIN. NEVER. AGAIN.
the process involved hunting references like a dying man hunts water in a desert, murdering the hell out of the edge of a coaster from Outback while using it to make straight strokes, and making a lot of sets of perpendicular lines while drawing the prongs.
I hate drawing Keyblades. BD

i know how it is to hunt for references, especially for characters that aren't fully revealed yet. ;___;
